How to Complete Vault Quotas

What Vault quotas are
The Vault at the Mining Hub is Drilling Thunder’s long-term economy objective. You deposit value produced from underground ore, and quest quotas check your total deposited value against fixed milestones:

Deeper Mining Site floors are tied to quota progress, so the Vault is not optional if you want the full underground. Achievement list: Steam achievements.
The value chain, start to finish
- Mine Terramass at Mining Site 01 with the Plasma Drill.
- Crush raw ore in the Crushbot; handle residual ore.
- Run the Prospector (needs water connections) to filter valuable material.
- Cast Ingots with the Caster from processed output.
- Deposit Ingots or value at the Mining Hub Vault.
Every machine in this chain is covered on ore processing and plasma tools.
Rules that save you hours
- Do not withdraw casually. Quotas and the achievement track Vault value. Pulling Credits out for purchases means re-depositing that value later — the 2,000,000 grind gets longer every time.
- Deposit in batches. Bank a full mining run at once rather than trickling single Ingots between trips.
- Automate the surface half. A conveyor from Crushbot to Caster removes hand-feeding — wiring patterns in controllers and sensors and logic gates.
- Vault progress unlocks floors. If a deeper Mining Site floor stays locked, check your quota progress before hunting for hidden switches.
Recommended pace
- Hit 10,000 naturally during your first two or three Site 01 runs.
- Push 100,000 once a Turret Seat rig makes runs faster.
- Treat 1,000,000 and the 2,000,000 achievement as background goals: bank every run, never withdraw, and the totals arrive with normal play.
